ANNOUNCEMENTS:

EVERYONE IS REMINDED THAT NEXT WEEK IS SPRING BREAK.  MONDAY, MARCH 16th WILL BE A “B” DAY.

EVERYONE IS REMINDED THAT DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME BEGINS ON SUNDAY, MARCH 8th.

Congratulations to the Brandon Bulldog Tennis Team on their victory over St. Augustine Academy yesterday.

The Brandon Lady Bulldog Fast Pitch Softball Team plays in the Harrison Central Tournament today.  Tomorrow, the Softball Team plays East Central and Ocean Springs at Ocean Springs.   Please support our Lady Softball Bulldogs.

The Brandon Bulldog Baseball Team plays in a Tournament in Monroe, LA.  The Bulldogs play Benton, LA this evening at 7:00pm.  Tomorrow, the Bulldogs play St. Thomas More and West Monroe.  Please support our Grade Baseball Bulldogs.

The3 Brandon Bulldog Track Teams have a Meet at Northwest Rankin today.  Please support our Track Bulldogs.

SENIORS---Herff Jones will be here to deliver Graduation Invitations and Supplies on Tuesday, March 17th during Lunch.  Please bring your balance due at this time.  If you still need to order graduation products, you can do so at www.gradsouth.com.

The Balfour representative will return on Wednesday, March 18th during lunch to take orders for Class Rings.  Any Sophomore, Junior, or Senior who wishes to order a ring must bring a $60 deposit (cash, check, money order, or credit cards accepted).  Extra ring packets are available in the office.  Any Checks should be made payable to “Balfour”.

STUDENTS---If you are interested in applying for the 2020-2021 BHS News Team, applications be found in the library and on the BHS Library website.  If you have questions or would like more information, please see Mrs. Chelsea Thomas in the library.  Applications must be completed by Friday, April 3rd at 3:00pm.

STUDENTS---The window for dropping the college portion of a dual credit class at Hinds is now open and will close on April 22.  If you need to drop the college part of your class, please see Mrs. Carter in the Guidance office as soon as possible.  Remember, you are only allowed to drop the college portion of the class.  You will continue to stay in the class for high school credit.  

Congressman Michael Guest proudly presents MILITARY ACADEMY DAY on Saturday, April 4th from 9:00 am to 12 noon at Brandon High School.  Registration begins at 8:30 am.  Representatives from the US Military Academy, the US Naval Academy, the US Air Force Academy and the US Merchant Marine Academy will be present to answer questions about these prestigious institutions.  Congressional staff, midshipmen, cadets, and alumni will be available to provide guidance on obtaining academy appointments.
